Crew

For the second year in a row, Dallas' creative team goes through major changes for season 10. Of the writers, only Leonard Katzman remains full-time from season 9, and he is joined by the returning David Paulsen (who had left the series at the end of season 8) and Leah Markus (who wrote for season 4, and now is given the additional credit as story consultant), as well as newcomers Mitchell Wayne Katzman, Calvin Clements, Jr., and Louella Lee Caraway. Series star Susan Howard also writes one more episode before leaving the series, both as a writer and as an actress, at the end of the season.

Among the producers, only associate producer Cliff Fenneman survives the transition from season 9 to season 10. For season 9 James H. Brown had joined the series as producer, replacing Leonard Katzman, who instead had been credited as "creative consultant". Now, for season 10, former writer/story editor David Paulsen replaces Brown, and Katzman is promoted to executive producer, replacing veteran Philip Capice. Additionally, newcomer Calvin Clements, Jr. replaces the departing Peter Dunne as supervising producer. Mitchell Wayne Katzman joins the team as the new story editor.
