Ski setting is a suit to wear on the rest of your clothes while skiing or snowboarding. Ski suits made for more casual winter outdoors can also be referred to as snowsuit ['sno ?? sut] and is often used by children as a daily outerwear in winter. Some special settings are made for snowboarders but mostly used by skiers or snowboarders regardless of style.

Ski suit can be one-piece, in the form of a jumpsuit, or two pieces, in the form of a ski jacket and matching pants, called a salopette or ski pants. Ski suits are either windproof or waterproof or waterproof, and have non-removable liners made of nylon, silk, cotton or taffeta. Ski Jacket
The ski jacket covers the arms and body, sometimes just to the waist while other times reaches over the buttocks. It could be a separate item or part of a two-piece ski suit along with matching ski pants.
From the introduction of a ski jacket in the mid to late 1950s to early 1980s, the dominant style was for a ski jacket resembling a safari jacket in possession of the same belt and a shirt-like shirt. Ski clothes are not unisex clothing because of the need for tight skin and must be properly sized to be effective. Most athletes wear a base layer under their suit, but some may only wear suits on race days, since the base layer will decrease the efficiency of the setting a bit.

Ski clothes and snow suits are a natural part of some sporting events. There are also occasions that emphasize the use of such snowsuit. At the annual Igloofest winter music festival in Montreal in Canada, there is a contest for one-piece clothing wearers.
