The Winter Special Winter Olympic Winter Games officially called The Olympic Winter Olympic 11th Special Olympic Games is a Special Olympics, a multi-sport event held in Austria from 14 March to 25 March, 2017.

Overview
It was announced in 2012 that the host city for the World Winter Special Winter Games will be Graz and Schladming in Styria, Austria.
Opening and closing ceremonies are broadcast in the United States on ABC and ESPN. Most events are played live or re-aired on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNNEWS throughout the game.

Game
Reception
With 113 participating countries all invited to reception in Vienna after the team arrived. In the team and the receiving countries can meet other athletes, take photos and talk to media from around the world. The first Special Olympics World ever done. The reception took place on March 16, 2017 at the Vienna City Hall of Rathaus.
Arrival
Most athletes arrive at Vienna International Airport on 14 March 2017, and are given Austrian necklaces and special equipment 2017 for their stay.
Teams from Ghana and Afghanistan were denied visas to travel to Austria to compete. The reason for the refusal submitted to the Ghana team is that Austria believes that the athletes will not return to Ghana after the competition. Tim Shriver, chairman of the International Olympic council, said: "On paper, six athletes over 2,500 are not attending the 2017 World Olympics. But for those sixth, it's a nightmare."
Opening ceremony
Opening ceremony on March 18, 2017. The game was officially opened by Alexander Van der Bellen. Jason Mraz and Grace VanderWaal, with a children's choir from Schladming and the International Olympic special envoy, performed "I Will not Give Up." Helene Fischer displays "Fighters" .
