The Dress of the Year is an annual fashion prize organized by the Fashion Museum, Bath from 1963. Every year since 1963, the Museum has asked fashion journalists to choose the dress or clothing that best represents new ideas that important in contemporary fashion. For 2010, the Museum decided on tradition by asking Stephen Jones milliner, rather than a journalist, to choose clothes; and again in 2014 when fashion blogger Susanna Lau from Style Bubble is asked to select clothes for 2013. The outfit is then donated to the Fashion Museum along with mannequin Adel Rootstein to represent the year's total view.
