Nike Air Max is the first shoe line released by Nike, Inc. in 1987. These shoes were originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, who began working for Nike as the architect of designing the store; he also designed many models of Air Jordan. Nike air technology was invented and patented by employee M. Frank Rudy.
